In 2009, I composed music for the video work “Musicbox ” by the Finnish video artist Pasi Autio. It was very inspiring to work with the Finnish language, which may sound like music in itself.
I also contributed with music to video art by Pasi—”Ögonblickets rymd” (2020)—which is installed at a hospital in Stockholm (Södersjukhuset). It’s a 28 minute loop with atmospheric sounds, plus eleven distinct melodies played by a flugelhorn and a bass clarinet.
